What is Stress?

Stress is rooted in trauma. At that time, it helped us stay alive and deal with a difficult event in our lives. The problem is when stress is still active in the body when the danger is long gone, but the sympathetic nervous system is still active, keeping us constantly alert, slowly forgetting how it is be feel calm and relaxed.

The Vagus nerve is the main nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system that controls the activity of the heart, organs, and the digestive tract. Chronic stress decrease the function of these organs, developing symptoms such as lack of good sleep and digestion.

How is stress treated?

The treatment focuses on activating the  nervous system, setting motion in the body and help easing the breath, body, and mind.
